Inside the Supplement Stack of a Longevity Doctor

Simple, Trusted Tools I Use for Energy, Focus, and Aging Well

When it comes to supplements, more is not always better. The key is knowing what your body needs, choosing the highest-quality products, and taking them under medical supervision.

As a longevity doctor, I’m constantly reviewing research, tracking my own labs, and making changes when needed. Here’s a look inside the core supplement stack I use to support my energy, focus, hormones, and long-term health.

This is not medical advice. These are insights into what I personally take, not a recommendation for you. Always speak with your doctor before starting any supplement.

1. Vitamin D3/K2

Supports mood, immune health, and hormone balance.
Most people are low, even in sunny places. I monitor my levels and adjust dosing as needed. K2 ensures calcium is directed to my bones and away from my arteries.

2. Probiotic

Good gut health is tied to brain health, skin clarity, and immune strength.
I rotate strains depending on my needs, but always choose a high-quality, third-party tested brand.

3. Ferrous Sulfate

This is iron. I take it to maintain optimal levels based on my labs (ferritin).
Iron should never be taken without testing, because too much can be harmful.

4. Creatine

Helps with strength, brain energy, and muscle recovery.
Yes, it can increase creatinine levels in blood tests, so I monitor this closely and do not recommend creatine without medical supervision regardless of what influencers are saying.

5. L-Theanine

A natural amino acid that helps calm the mind without making me drowsy.
I use it to support mental clarity and stress resilience.

6. Magnesium Threonate

This form of magnesium crosses the blood-brain barrier and supports cognitive function and restful sleep.
It’s part of my brain longevity plan.

7. Berberine

Helps regulate blood sugar and supports metabolic health.
I monitor its effect on my glucose, lipids, and gut.

8. Zinc

Supports immune function, skin repair, and hormone balance.
Zinc can deplete copper, so I keep an eye on both when supplementing.

Quality Over Hype: What I Always Look For

  • Third-party testing to confirm ingredients and purity
  • Made in facilities that follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Backed by research and tailored to my body’s needs

Final Word: Personalization Is Everything

These are the supplements that work for me right now. I tweak them based on how I feel, what my lab results show, and what season of life I’m in.

What works for you may look completely different. That’s why I always recommend getting guidance from a physician who understands longevity and functional medicine.
